NEWS: Office Open; Video Sessions possible; Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy

1. At this time the office is OPEN for all services.  ZOOM video sessions are available for psychotherapy and is advised particularly for those who, if they came to office would otherwise have to wear protective  face masks.  Intensive psychotherapy depends on non-verbal communication which is seriously limited by face masks.  The ZOOM.com account is HIPPA compliant. Other channels such as FaceTime and Skype are also available; please inquire.

2. It is possible to arrange REMOTE neurofeedback sessions after the Intake session.  We will facilitate your renting the necessary equipment from a third party (we are pleased to facilitate that arrangement and receive no fees for that arrangement).

3. Dr. Brod has had special training in ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP) and offer KAP to selected patients. We are an approved Spravato treatment facility for treatment-resistant depression; this option is rarely open to new patients.  More typically, we offer racemic ketamine where safe doses can be larger with much lower costs to the patient (I do not charge for the medication, which is relatively inexpensive, but only for my direct services).  For more information download the “Informed Consent for KAP” pages.
